Cheer Tumbling
Option 1 is a 60-minute class dedicated exclusively to tumbling, with no trampoline work. This option was created in response to feedback from some of our cheer athletes who preferred to focus only on floor tumbling skills. While we strongly believe in the value of trampoline training as a complement to tumbling, we also recognize that when an athlete doesn’t enjoy that portion, it becomes less effective. This class allows those athletes to work strictly on the tumbling skills they need to succeed in cheerleading.
Option 2 is a 90-minute class that includes everything in Option 1, plus an additional 30 minutes of trampoline work. We highly recommend this option, as the trampoline provides athletes with an outstanding tool for developing spatial awareness and practicing advanced tumbling skills—such as the back full, double full, and arabian—with significantly less strain on the wrists and ankles. This allows for higher quality repetitions without the fatigue of completing full tumbling passes each time. For athletes committed to long-term skill development, the trampoline is an invaluable part of the training process.
Whether you’re just learning your first back handspring or working toward mastering a standing double full, our Cheer Tumbling program offers the ideal training environment. While these skills are also taught in our standard Trampoline & Tumbling classes, we find that when every athlete in the group comes from the same sport, the experience is more enjoyable and more directly relevant to their goals. Because of this, our Cheer Tumbling classes often fill up quickly. If you are new to Laws of Motion and cannot find a spot, we recommend registering for our Trampoline & Tumbling program as a strong alternative.
